**Version 26.1.4 – January 12, 2026**

View video playback previews and thumbnails of MXF files and professional camera RAW formats directly in Finder without launching Tin Man. Calibrated QuickLook is powered by a streamlined version of the Tin Man Decoding Engine for native-quality playback and accurate color reproduction.

* **Playback Preview & Thumbnail support:**
  * Blackmagic RAW (BRAW)
  * RED RAW (R3D)
  * ARRIRAW (MXF/ARI/ARX)
  * Sony RAW (MXF)
  * Nikon RAW (NEV)
  * Canon RAW (CRM/RMF)
  * DPX sequences
  * MXF files supported by Tin Man
* **Playback Preview features:**
  * Real-time color space conversions for RAW and Log media
  * Metadata and timecode overlay
  * Thumbnail scrub bar
  * Frame-by-frame stepping (with hold-to-repeat)
  * Resolution selection for RAW decode quality
  * Audio scrubbing
  * Audio playback with volume control
* Can be enabled/disabled in System Settings → General → Login & Extensions → QuickLook.
* macOS loads Apple’s native MXF QuickLook provider at startup. To allow Calibrated QuickLook to handle video previews for supported MXF files, **Finder must be restarted after each system startup**.
