# Calibrated Spotlight plugin (macOS)

The **Calibrated Spotlight plugin** allows macOS Spotlight and Finder to perform **deep metadata searches** across professional camera media.

Instead of manually browsing folders, users can instantly locate clips by:

* Reel, Scene, Shot, Take, Good Take
* Company, Production, Director, DP, Location, Description, Comments, Keywords
* Camera Model, ISO, White Balance, Tint, Shutter Angle, Aperture, Lens Model, Camera Name, Camera Operator
* Format, Video Codec, Resolution, Color Space, Frame Rate, Time Code, Audio Codec, Audio Channels, Date Created

Spotlight uses the same metadata extracted by the **Tin Man** app, ensuring accurate and consistent results across RAW, MXF, and image-sequence formats.
