The ARRI RAW Properties Panel provides a wide range of options for adjusting how ARRI RAW files are interpreted, processed, and displayed. These settings are grouped into logical sections for greater clarity and control.

Log Processing

  • Log Output Allows you to switch between LogC3 and LogC4 output formats, when supported by the media.

  • Color Convert Converts the source Log color space to another color space for display or export.

  • Color Output Sets the output format to either Full Range RGB or Video Range YUV.

  • Playback Quality Controls the debayer quality during playback. Lower settings improve performance at the cost of image quality.

  • Render Quality Controls the debayer quality during export. Lower settings reduce export time, while higher settings maximize image fidelity.

Image Resolution

This section allows you to scale, crop, and rotate the image.

  • To reset individual values, right-click on the control or its label and choose "Reset" from the context menu.

  • To reset all resolution settings, click the Reset icon next to the "Image Resolution" label.

Image Processing

Adjust image attributes such as:

  • White Balance

  • Tint

  • Exposure Index

  • Debayer Mode

To reset any control to its default value, right-click the control and select "Reset".

Image Look

For LogC3 and LogC4 files, the Image Look consists of a combination of a LUT and CDL (Color Decision List).

Importing a Look

  • Click the Import button next to the "Image Look" label to load a saved look:

    • AML files for LogC3

    • ALF4 or ALF4C files for LogC4

  • To reset the entire Image Look, click the Reset icon next to the "Image Look" label.

LUT (Look-Up Table)

The LUT is applied before the CDL and can be configured as:

  • Embedded 3D LUT Loaded directly from the ARRI RAW media file.

  • Custom 3D LUT Load your own LUT and optionally define a Destination Color Space.

  • Custom Color 3D LUT (LogC4 only) Combine a custom LUT with an ARRI Display Render Transform (DRT) LUT.

To reset:

  • Right-click the "LUT" label and select "Reset" to clear a custom LUT.

  • Click the Reset icon next to the "LUT" label to fully reset LUT settings.

CDL (Color Decision List)

The CDL lets you apply and fine-tune:

  • Slope

  • Offset

  • Power

  • Saturation

To reset:

  • Right-click any individual control or label and choose "Reset"

  • Or click the Reset icon next to the "Image CDL" label to reset all CDL settings at once

Copy / Paste / Reset Settings

Right-click the "ARRI RAW Properties" section header to:

  • Copy Settings

  • Paste Settings from a previous copy

  • Reset Settings to defaults

Paste and reset operations can also be applied to all selected ARRI RAW files in the File List window.
