# Standard vs Pro vs Server

Tin Man offers three license tiers to match your workflow needs. All licenses include the desktop application; Server adds command-line tools for automation.

### Tin Man Standard

**Best for:** Playback and review workflows, batch exporting and report creation

**Includes:**

* Video playback and review
* Export and transcoding
* Metadata viewing
* Bin organization (including Smart Bins)
* Interactive report generation (Clip Reports, Marker Reports)
* All supported camera RAW and professional formats

### Tin Man Pro

**Best for:** DaVinci Resolve users, and users requiring Avid workflow support

**Everything in Standard, plus:**

* Ability to sync external audio files to video files
* DaVinci Resolve Studio integration (send/update files, sync bins and markers)
* DaVinci Resolve CSV metadata export
* Avid DNxHD/HR/Unc decoding and encoding
* JSON Reports
* Export with AAF sidecar in MXF OP-Atom
* Export with FCPXML sidecar

### Tin Man Server

**Best for:** Users requiring batch processing and automation

* Command-line interface (CLI) for batch processing (no GUI required)
* Automated video exporting and transcoding at scale
* Automated media copy with SHA256 verification
* Automated report generation (HTML, PDF, CSV, XLSX, JSON)
* Automated thumbnail generation for high-volume workflows
* Integrate with existing pipelines and scripts
* Integrate with Ai automation using MCP Server or Claude Cowork Plugin
* Comes with license for desktop Tin Man Pro (when used on same computer)
