### Audio Sync (Tin Man Pro)

Audio Sync lets you sync up to 16 external audio files to a video clip, designed for workflows where audio is recorded separately from video.

### Syncing Audio

To sync audio, select the video clip(s) and the audio file(s) you want to sync together in the File List, then right-click and select Sync Audio. Choose a sync method:

* By TC — Sync using matching timecode between the video and audio files.
* By InPoint — Sync audio starting at the video clip's In point.
* By OutPoint — Sync audio ending at the video clip's Out point.

You can also right-click on a Bin and select Sync Audio to sync all files within that bin.

### Options

* Retain Video Metadata — When enabled, audio file metadata is used alongside the video file's existing metadata.

### Unsyncing Audio

To remove synced audio, right-click the clip in the File List and select Unsync Audio.

### File List Integration

* The Sync Audio column in the File List displays the filenames of synced audio files.
* Audio channel names are extracted from iXML and BWF metadata in WAV files and appear in the Inspect panel, File List, Audio Mapping source column, and reports.
* Synced audio is preserved when saving and loading projects.

### DaVinci Resolve Integration (Tin Man Pro)

Synced video and external audio clips can be sent to DaVinci Resolve Studio, with an option to include audio metadata. See the DaVinci Resolve subpage for more details.
