This panel controls how metadata is handled during export jobs, including file locations, mapping behavior, and default metadata types.

**Metadata File Export Settings**

* **Custom Metadata Location**\
  Sets the default folder where **FCPXML** or **Avid AAF** metadata files will be saved (when applicable).
* **Export FCPXML to Custom Metadata Location**\
  When enabled, FCPXML files generated during export jobs will be saved to the **Custom Metadata Location**.
* **Export Avid AAF to Custom Metadata Location**\
  When enabled, Avid AAF files generated during export jobs will be saved to the **Custom Metadata Location**.

**Metadata Mapping**

* **None** – No metadata will be mapped to the exported file
* **Inspect** – Only metadata visible in the **Inspect Panel** will be included
* **Src** – All metadata present in the **source file** will be exported
* **Inspect + Src** – Combines both Inspect Panel and source metadata

**Default Metadata Types**

* **Various Metadata Types**\
  Choose which types of metadata are included by default in export jobs (e.g., Adobe XMP, QuickTime, MP4, EXR).

  > These settings act as defaults and can still be adjusted per job in the Export Panel.
