# ProRes RAW

These settings define the default behavior for how **ProRes RAW files** are processed and displayed upon import. All options can be overridden in the **Video Image → Source** panel for individual files.

**Playback & Processing**

* **Default Playback Resolution**\
  Sets the default **decode resolution** for ProRes RAW playback.

  > Lower resolutions may improve playback performance at the expense of image quality. This setting can also be adjusted per file in the player controls.
* **Default Log Processing**\
  Defines the default **color space (log type)** used for ProRes RAW processing.

  > Can be changed in the **Source** panel after import.

**LUT & CDL Workflow**

* **ProRes RAW LUT Folder**\
  Sets the default **LUT folder path** opened when selecting LUTs for ProRes RAW in the Source panel.
* **Pre CDL LUT**\
  Determines whether a **3D LUT is automatically applied before** the CDL stage.

  > Can be modified in the Source panel.
* **Enable CDL**\
  Enables or disables **CDL (Color Decision List)** processing for ProRes RAW files by default.
* **Post CDL LUT**\
  Determines whether a **3D LUT is automatically applied after** the CDL stage.

  > Can be modified in the Source panel.

**Color Space and Level Controls**

* **Dst Color Space – Pre CDL LUT**\
  Sets the **destination color space** that the **Pre CDL LUT** will convert into.
* **Dst Color Space – Post CDL LUT**\
  Sets the **destination color space** that the **Post CDL LUT** will convert into.
* **Dst Color Level**\
  Controls the default **color level labeling or conversion** for ProRes RAW files:
  * **Full Range (Label)** – Tags video as Full Range (no conversion)
  * **Full Range (Convert)** – Converts from Video Range to Full Range
  * **Video Range (Label)** – Tags video as Video Range (no conversion)
  * **Video Range (Convert)** – Converts from Full Range to Video Range
