DaVinci Resolve Studio Integration (Tin Man Pro)

Tin Man Pro provides advanced integration with DaVinci Resolve Studio, making it easier than ever to transfer files and metadata between your Tin Man Pro File List and your Resolve projects. Please be aware that sending a large number of files at once may increase the time it takes for Resolve to process them.
The following options are available in the File List context menu:
Send Files (Studio): Quickly send selected files from Tin Man Pro to your open DaVinci Resolve Studio project for immediate use or organization.
Send + Update Files (Studio): Send selected files to DaVinci Resolve Studio and automatically update their metadata within Resolve, ensuring all clip information is accurate and synchronized.
Update Files (Studio): Update the metadata of files that are already present in your DaVinci Resolve Studio project, without needing to resend the original media.
Export Metadata CSV: Generate a Resolve-compatible CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file containing detailed metadata for your selected files in Tin Man Pro. Once exported, you can import the CSV into DaVinci Resolve using the File > Import Metadata To option to update the metadata of the corresponding files in your Resolve Media Pool.
Metadata Options: Access options to customize which metadata fields are updated in DaVinci Resolve Studio or exported in , allowing precise control over your workflow.
Metadata Options

The Resolve Metadata Options dialog allows you to select which metadata fields will be included when sending, updating, or exporting metadata to DaVinci Resolve Studio, as well as when generating a Resolve Metadata CSV file. This ensures you have full control over which information is transferred or exported, so your workflow stays efficient and only relevant data is updated or shared.
Available Metadata Fields Include:
Clip Name (Update Only - not available in CSV)
Reel Number (Update Only - not available in CSV)
Start TC (Update Only - not available in CSV)
Input Color Space (Update Only – not available in CSV; only works if your Resolve project is Color Managed and the color space is recognized by Resolve)
Data Level - options are Auto, Full, or Video
Scene, Shot, Take, Good Take
Comments, Description, Keywords
Angle, Camera #
To customize which fields are included, simply check or uncheck each option in the list.
Checked fields will be sent/updated in Resolve and included in the CSV export.
Unchecked fields will be excluded from the operation.
Once you’ve made your selections, click Ok to apply them, or Cancel to exit without saving changes.
