The Sony RAW Properties Panel provides full control over decoding and image processing of Sony RAW footage, enabling precise color management and creative adjustments during playback and export.

Decode & Color Settings

  • Decode Quality Adjust the render and playback quality for Sony RAW files. Lower quality improves performance; higher quality improves image fidelity.

  • Log Processing Select the Color Space used when processing the Sony RAW footage.

  • Destination Color Level Define how the processed footage is tagged or transformed:

    • Full Range (Label) – Default; tags output as Full Range

    • Full Range (Convert) – Converts Video Range to Full Range

    • Video Range (Label) – Tags output as Video Range

    • Video Range (Convert) – Converts Full Range to Video Range

Useful for managing output consistency when using LUTs that alter level mappings.

  • Resolution Change the resolution of the decoded output.

  • Orientation Set the output orientation (e.g., 0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) for the decoded footage.
