ProRes (ARRI) Properties
This panel provides decoding and color management options for ProRes files recorded by ARRI cameras, specifically those using LogC3 or LogC4 color science.
Color Settings
Log Processing Displays the Log Output type detected in the ProRes file (e.g., LogC3 or LogC4).
Color Convert Converts the Log color space to a different color space for viewing or export.
Color Output Set the output color format:
Full Range RGB
Video Range YUV
Image Look (ARRI LogC3 / LogC4)
ARRI ProRes files may include embedded or custom looks, composed of a LUT and a CDL.
Image Look Preset
Import a saved Image Look preset:
AML file for LogC3
ALF4 or ALF4C file for LogC4
To fully reset, click the Reset icon next to the Image Look label.
LUT
The LUT is applied before the CDL:
Embedded 3D LUT – Extracted directly from the media file
Custom 3D LUT – User-specified LUT with its own destination color space
Custom Color 3D LUT – Used with ARRI Display Render Transform (DRT) LUTs (LogC4 only)
To clear a custom LUT: Right-click the LUT label and select Reset, or click the Reset icon next to the LUT section.
CDL (Color Decision List)
Use the CDL controls to adjust:
Saturation
Slope
Offset
Power
Right-click any control or label to reset its value. Click the Reset icon next to Image CDL to clear all CDL settings.
Copy, Paste, Reset Settings
Right-click the ProRes (ARRI) Properties section header to:
Copy the current settings
Paste settings onto other ProRes (ARRI) files
Reset all values to defaults
These operations apply to all selected ARRI ProRes files in the File List Window.
