Export Metadata Options

Various options for exporting metadata are available depending on the exported file format:

• Adobe XML - This is available for all formats. Some formats it will be embedded metadata and some formats it will be a sidecar .xmp file.

• FCPXML (Pro License needed) - This is available for all formats. It will be a sidecar .fcpxml file and it can be saved in the alternate metadata export folder.

• QuickTime - This option will show when MOV is the export file format. This metadata will be embedded in the MOV file.

• MP4 - This option will show when MP4 is the export file format. This metadata will be embedded in the MP4 file.

• OP1a - This option will show when MXF OP1a is the export file format. This metadata will be embedded in the MXF OP1a file.

• Avid - This option will show when MXF OP-Atom is the export file format. This metadata will be embedded in the MXF OP-Atom file.

• AAF (Pro License needed) - This option is under the Avid metadata option and will show when MXF OP-Atom is the export file format. It will be a sidecar .aaf file and it can be saved in the alternate metadata export folder.

• EXR - This option will show when EXR is the export file format. This metadata will be embedded in the EXR file.

• DPX - This option will show when DPX is the export file format. This metadata will be embedded in the DPX file.
